Microsoft Access® '95/97/2000 features two distinct methods for securing the database: User/Group Permissions and File passwords.

File password security prevents a file from being opened unless the proper password is given. Access' file password security does not feature a secure encryption algorithm and passwords can easily be recovered from Access® (.mdb) files.

Our price for recovering File passwords from Access® .mdb files is $40.00. Our service is guaranteed - if we fail to recover your passwords you pay nothing. Please contact us by email at pwcrack@pwcrack.com if you would like us to recover Access® passwords for you or complete our standard agreement form and send your .mdb file.

Microsoft Access'® User/Group Permissions security feature limits the range of functions allowed to individual users. We can recover databases protected with this security feature. Our price for this service is also $40.00. User/Group Permissions passwords are recovered from Access® .mdw or .mda files. Please contact us at pwcrack@pwcrack.com if you would like us to work on a User/Group Permissions protected Access® database or complete our standard agreement form and send your .mdw/.mda file.

Sometimes Microsoft Access® databases (.mdb files) can become orphaned (separated) from their workgroup information files (.mdw/.mda files.) When this happens, security settings for the .mdb database file can be reset so that data can be recovered. The original passwords and security settings cannot be recovered in this case, but the data in the database will be accessible. Our fee for this work is based upon file format and size and therefore must be quoted individually after we have a copy of the orphaned .mdb file. To initiate this type of recovery please contact us by email at pwcrack@pwcrack.com or send us your orphaned .mdb file and complete our standard agreement form.

Special Note: We receive numerous requests for Access® password recovery for databases that have "mysteriously" or "spontaneously" been password protected. Often this is a good indication that these databases have become corrupted. Access® misinterprets these databases as password protected when in fact they are corrupted. One way that Access databases can become corrupted is by being opened in Word and then saved (though this is not the only way.) We cannot recover databases that have become corrupted in this way, but we are willing to test databases to see if they have indeed been password protected or are corrupted. Corrupted Access files may be recovered using software from Officerecovery.com..

If you would prefer to recover Access® passwords yourself, you can purchase Access® password recovery software from Passware, Inc.
